Eoin Morgan - England's Irish Captain

Eoin Morgan is one of the most famous cricketers in  the world, a world cup winner with England he is credited with changing the way they approached competition. Fearless and competitive. A true leader he captained England to ultimate success.

However it was very far from the historic dressing  rooms at Lords where Eoin was bought up. Rush, North County Dublin is an unlikely hotbed of Cricket, but it was here in a working class family that Eoin’s talent and personality was forged. This film is the most intimate Eoin has ever been, with his full cooperation and that of family members we get a true sense of what made the man.

Find out how cricket was once one of the most popular sports in Ireland, and how to this day it’s still played in corners of the country.

The film was made for RTE Television broadcast
